Turning of the Square

When we have a circle, we have four directions.  Each direction represents an element of our creation.  When we turn the square we are able to see the center, the truth from a different view, from another direction which allows us to create in balance.  When we walk the wheel and create in the mind, in balance, we start in the east, from spirit and use the perspective of spirit to begin to form our creation.  Then we turn the square and look at things from the West, from the perspective of the body, the container.  Then we turn the square and look at things from the south, from the perspective of emotion (energy in motion) as we determine what direction we want to point the energy as we begin to put it into motion.  Then we turn the square to the fourth direction, the north and we look at things from the perspective of the mind to put the finishing touches on our creation, the completion, the understanding and the honor of the balancing of all four.

pectA turn of the square is a bold move ( that illuminates the honesty (keeps us present) so that we build the honor of all perspectives so we can hold our creation in balance.

It gives us a fresh perspective and breaks the judgment/fear that may threaten our balance.

4 turns completes the creation.

The completion is the sacred number 5, The balanced creation.  The perfect child.

There are many metaphors here.  Another is that in order to turn a square (into a circle) you must shave off the points.  Each time you honor one of the 4 perspectives in the story, you shave off a corner and are making the unified circle.

In the physical, we see things from one of the 4 perspectives.  In Spirit we see things from all of the 4 perspectives so it has soft edges, not hard ones.

Each of the points of the square represents the potential for us to be in fear and not love.  Making something right and something wrong.  As we turn the square we shave off the places for fear to hide in the corners and find ourselves to be closer to the grace of god, allowing us to be, without needing to do.

Creating from Love and not from Fear

Like the Compassion wheel, it all begins with honesty. And it is this honesty that gives us the strength, self-respect, and compassionate accountability to dwell in the light.  It is only when we stop hiding and take responsibility to live authentically, that we realize the beauty and abundance of ayni. What does this feel like?  In honoring all of life, existing in harmony with the living energy, being impeccable with our word and action, and remembering the two sacred laws (all creation is birthed of woman and do not harm the children), there is movement, freedom, and pure joy.  The waiting is over!  Creating from this place of honesty and nurturing our creations by mutual support and scrutiny, are the powerful laws that we wish to implement.  The purpose of the new square, then, is to be a beacon in the darkness and a reminder that one simply has to choose honesty in each new moment.
